LBreakout2.4.1 - unresponsive system after user mode application crashed by a bug in itself

happens on 0.4RC1,
happens on trunk r70349 as well.

when you wiggle your mouse pointer for some seconds over player list in rapps game LBreakout2,

you will first get an exception, then an assertion and if you continue,
the system gets so slow, that it's totally unresponsive, even to mouse moves.

This does also happen when you have sound disabled.
