Description
When trying to install ROS on a hard disk.
I had previously formatted a partition FAT32
and certified it error free with SPINRITE, the
industry standard from GRC.
SPINRITE has been the industry standard
for 15 years at least.
I did not let the installer format the disk. I
chose skip.
CHKDSK reported errors but did not stop me.
CHKDSK is wrong. Industry accepted standard
SPINRITE is to be accepted.
CHKDSK was very quick, too quick, to report
the errors.
