Description
When booting (and when installing) the msvc build, the boot will break / halt somewhere early in the boot process and wait indefinitely. It appears to be waiting for a debugger to attach and as soon as it detects one the boot will automatically continue.
This is not only frustrating, but it's also potentially a blocker for people who want to install the MSVC build but are unaware that they need to attach a kernel debugger for it to continue.
I'm guessing the bug lies in kdcom, but I haven't yet confirmed. It's a chicken and egg bug; I want to attach a debugger to find out where it breaks, but when I do it continues execution .....
Perhaps we need to break bochs out to find this one.
