MSVC build doesn't install on VMWare10

Used VMWare12 (compatibility mode VMWare10). Default devices, 256Mb RAM, Windows XP OS type

GCC build goes through 1 stage setup fine,
MSVC build shows black screen after initial core loading (on black screen with progress bar)
revision 70655. Some earlier revisions of MSVC build also fail.
