for example, subst. I tried with Russian letters on the test folder C:\Test (Russian: C:\Тест). And that's what I've got (see screen shot). After using subst on the test folder, it renamed itself. Moreover, the new name for the folder remained on the hard disk and after rebooting I could not see the original folder name. I tried the subst with another Russian word. The situation became even more interesting (see subst_no_latin_2).
