Explorer hangs when accessing floppy drive

Downloaded a VMware image of ReactOS the other day, from a link posted in the
ReactOS forum.

Everything works fine, except whenever I open My Computer, go to Explore, or
Run>Browse, the floppy drive is accessed, and then explorer seemingly hangs -
VMware indicates that the floppy drive is, from that point on, being accessed,
yet there is no actual activity.

I haven't tried putting a disk in the drive yet, but I assume that could
correct the problem.

Windows' explorer doesn't check the floppy drive whenever My Computer is opened
for example - this should be optional, IMO.
