    Description

I have made a fresh installation of revision 69686 in real hardware.
      My hard drive is partitioned:
      C: (Fat32) primary.
      Extended
      E: (ext2) logical.
      F: (ext3) logical.
      D: (NTFS) primary.
I have placed some texted files on the 2 ext partitions from within Linux, which show up in Explorer, but when I have tried to open a text file in Notepad by clicking on the file, Notepad opens but does not display any text. I have then created a test file in the already opened Notepad and tried to save the file; the file shows in Explorer, but Porperties show zero bytes. These saved files show in Linux, but are empty when viewed in a text editor.

I have the same problem in the ext3 partition.

This error message appears when trying to open or save a text file:
      "ERROR_INVALID_FUNCTION-Incorrect function".

      See 69686-ext2-readwrite.log
