BSOD Fall 0.1.3

tested on ros 0.4.1RC3

I have seen multiple applications behaving strange about the escape key:
Take Fall 0.1.3 from rapps.
After you start it, you can usually press escape once, then it will display a question whether you want to leave, escape again and you should be out.

However, probably on every third startup of fall this is not possible, you can hold on to escape or hammer on it like an idiot, it will not correctly work.

Next startup is probably fine again.

After I experimented with that for 3minutes, I got a BSOD fall-crash.log

(just a side note: the german game "Anno 1602" installer always aborts its installation process with a message, as if the user had pressed escape-key)
Something seems strange with those modifier keys... Happens also with builds shortly after 0.4.0
