USB Keyboard and Mouse not working on bootcd

Long story short, my keyboard works in BIOS setup. But when I reach the keyboard layout selector it is completely unresponsive. I actually noticed that the USB controllers get completely disabled. My mouse and keyboard LEDs stop giving light.
