    Description

Install ros onto a freshly formatted drive.
As soon as you enter 3rd stage, run chkdsk.
Chkdsk will detect file-system corruption even then.

reactOS r72159 affected, chkdsk sees corruption
reactOS 0.4.2RC1 affected, chkdsk sees corruption
reactOS 0.4.1 affected, chkdsk sees corruption
reactOS 0.4.0 not affected, chkdsk sees no corruption, does chkdsk work?

      react-0.4.2RC1-FScorruptionRightAfterSetup.log
I can see nothing wrong in explorer, but I guess chkdsk does not lie here...
