Description
the ticket is not about making that replacement work, it's just about preventing the BSOD caused by a user mode dll.
reproducability is very good on r73378:
-1 replace our browseui.dll with W2K3SP2 version (6.0.3790.3959).
-2 restart the system(we can boot to desktop ok)
-3 start the file-browser via my-computer-symbol
-4 explorer will crash (with exception in kernel32.dll) with this [crashbox|r73378-browseuiExperiment.png]
-5 click ok or abort
-6 explorer will restart
-7 repeat step4-6 2 or 3 times
and you will end up with BSOD 0x1E
More sanity checks in our core may harden us further and improve compatibility.
