Could not open HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\VIDEO registry error with Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 native drivers

    Description

      I try to install Win XP drivers for Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 videocard.
      I expract the drivers and then point to Display.Driver subfolder in Add new hardware wizard. It was installed without any errors. But after reboot I get a black screen. At this point system is not freezed because there are some HDD activity indication and power button successfully shutdown ROS.
      At debug log exists an error: Could not open HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\VIDEO registry key.

      Also I found similar log output in CORE-8020. Possible it can be related.
