Description
Tested on build 73532
On a Dell Latitude D620, lspci extract:
09:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5752 Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express (rev 02)
1. Opened device manager
2. Clicked Unknown Ethernet controller, update driver
3. Inserted DVD with uncompressed Broadcom driver: http://www.dell.com/support/home/de/de/debsdt1/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=04VK6
The device is correctly detected by its name. After a reboot it is mentioned as network adapter, but device is disabled and not working. Enabling it in device manager shows a message that the driver was not found: C:\ReactOS\System32\drivers\b57xp32.sys. The file really does not exist on this path. Manually copying the file from the extracted driver's WinXP subfolder there makes the device working as expected.
Running the setup program from the downloaded driver installer also does not copy the file and therefore does not enable the driver.
