Launching LMMS 1.1.3 after install is abnormally slow

The program installs fine, but when you first launch it, it takes a very long time to get past the splash screen and to the initial configuration screen, and from what I can tell it simply stops working and never shows the main window after clicking "OK" at the configuration screen and the CPU maxes out at 100% until you force kill the process via task manager.

Tested on 74018 in Virtualbox
