Description
I installed ReactOS-0.5.0-BootCD-Debug-r74115
to an old upgraded gateway PC..
ReactOS hangs on boot if a USB mouse is plugged in,
booting in debug mode shows that it hangs with the system driver,
HIDUSB.sys
Unfortunately I do not have a USB to NULL modem cable to hook my laptop up to it at this point in time...
So I cannot get a stack trace at this time...
but I wanted to at least get a bug report started..
I have attached a Microsoft html archived webpage (.mht) with this old systems specs..
u will need either MS Internet Explorer or "UnMHT or Mozilla Archive Format" extensions for Firefox to view the file.
Model: Gateway Performance 866
Mobo is the equivalent of a Intel D815EEA
CPU: Intel Pentium 3 866MHz
RAM: 512MB SDRAM Crucial (2x 256MB sticks) PC133
GFX: 128MB ATI/Sapphire Radeon 9800 SE AGP 4x/8x
HDD: 80GB Western Digital IDE
CDROM: Samsung SW-252 CDRW drive IDE
4 USB 1.1 ports (2 front and 2 rear)
basic Microsoft USB Optical scroll mouse
PS/2 Microsoft Keyboard
don't hesitate to ask for more info if I can provide it.
I would also like to note that if I leave the mouse unplugged till the ReactOS desktop is showing and then plug it in,
it seems to work just fine so the issue remains a boot driver issue
