Description
If you try to install WMP8, after unpacking the archive, a window appears telling you that you need to reboot the system. However, after a reboot, nothing happens. If the installer is uncompressed using 7-zip, then the installation is in normal mode.
In Windows XP it starts the installer after reboot.

Workaround:
1. Install the OS in VirtualBox
|
2. From the ReactOS application manager install the sound driver (AC97), 7-zip and browser
|
3. Restart to safe mode
|
4. Install guest OS add-ins supporting direct3D
|
5. Reboot
|
6. We go into the browser, we find and download 8.0_mp8_inst.exe
|
7. We move to the folder with the downloaded file and unpack it using 7-zip (PCM-7-zip-unpack to 8.0_mp8_inst)
|
8. We move to the resulting folder and run mp8.exe
|
9. Install, incidentally agreeing with everyone.
