[VirtualPC 2004 + dc21x4.sys] Firefox 3.0.11: crashes when trying to load its start page

    Description

      (Noticed while testing ROSTESTS-277.)

      Virtual PC 2004 SP1 (5.3.582.27) + dc21x4.sys v5.5.4 + bootcdregtest-75006.iso

      "Firefox 3.0.11 Setup.exe" install succeeds,
      but Firefox (even in safe mode) crashes when trying to load its start page.

      Possible hint, from debug log:

      (dll/win32/kernel32/client/loader.c:384) LoadLibraryExW(C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\w8zg37sz.default/nssckbi.dll) failing with status c0000135

      c0000135 means STATUS_DLL_NOT_FOUND.

      Indeed, dll is (as it should) at
      C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\nssckbi.dll

      –

      NB:
      Test KVM AHK does not have (that log line nor) this issue.
      VirtualPC 2004 + Windows XP works fine.
