Description
I'm trying to use Wine IE to download a different browser(I'd test Wine IE more but I like a bit more control over my security options than I can seem to manage), but I have a rather huge issue that renders the browser almost completely useless.
Whenever I click into the address bar or any other text field within the window, the text field in question will almost immediately revert to a state in which I cannot type(or in the case of the address bar, it will shift the typing cursor thing all the way to the left). Furthermore, when I do manage to spam a character enough while clicking rapidly, said character is immediately deleted when the text field reverts.
Attached is a webm depicting the issue.
EDIT: Additional useful information below.
The bug can consistently be replicated, even after a reboot of the physical machine the VM is being run on.
While I cannot produce logs as the processes detailed are incredibly complex by my standards(I'm testing from the viewpoint of an average Windows user with a decent amount of technical knowledge and no experience with other operating systems[unless you count a few basic DOS commands] and whose only debug experience is "press the button get the text dump".), I can confirm that the bug is reproduced on the latest nightly build, as well as the 0.4.5 release build.
Physical hardware:
CPU: Intel Core i5 6600 @3.3 GHz
RAM: 8GB DDR4 @2133 MHz
GPU: MSI GTX 1050Ti 4GB, Base clock @1341 MHz, Boost clock @1455 MHz
HDD: Western Digital WD Blue 1TB 3.5 inch HDD, 64 MB cache
Virtualbox VM configuration:
Main VM: Runs ReactOS 0.4.5 through the preconfigured VHD available for download. 4GB base memory and 128MB video memory allocated, all other settings default.
Nightly Build VM: Created to mimic the main one fairly closely, however the VHD is only 10GB, and I forgot to allocate video memory so it's at 9MB. Those are the only differences.
