    Description

I tried the BOOTCD type of ReactOS for testing and it seems it doesn't give any output (black screen) after Freeloader boots all the necessary components (HAL, ntoskrnl.exe, boot drivers).

I gave up recently and want to try LIVECD of ReactOS instead. However, after Freeloader booting ReactOS, a BSoD pops up in address 0x0000007B out of a sudden. The affected release of ReactOS is 0.4.6.

I used a USB stick to boot ReactOS, and, while the USB stack isn't completely developed I've seen people booting LiveCD with USB sticks so I just did the same. I suspect it's more likely a hardware compatibility issue than USB one.

Here are the specifications of my old PC rig (I can't remember all the specs though, sorry):

CPU: Intel Celeron 2.90 GHz (can't remember the model name)

      RAM: 512 MB

      RAM Type: DDR2

Video Card: Integrated (I'm not entirely sure though, can't remember)

      IDE or SATA?: IDE

Using USB mouse or PS/2?: PS/2

Devices attached: keyboard attached in PS/2 port, Audio 5.1 kit system Logitech attached and mouse attached in PS/2 port. No other devices and USB flashes are attached except the ReactOS LiveCD USB stick.
