Description
I attempted to install Borland Delphi 7 on ReactOS, the latest nightly build (75873). I got through the whole install wizard to the part where it actually performs the installation. However, at this point it starts begging me to insert Disk 1. Disk 1 was already in, that's the same disk the installation runs off of in the first place. There is a disk 2, but it's never been needed - it has some extras which I don't require. Regardless, I tried using Disk 2, and it still kept asking me to insert Disk 1. I tried multiple times, including choosing a minimal installation (few features).
Somehow, ReactOS just isn't letting it see that Disk 1 is already there.
To add, there is no way to abort!!!!!
There is no close button on this window, and there is only one button "Retry".
*EDIT* Actually thankfully that little window was not modal, so I was able to hit "Cancel" in the main window.
*EDIT 2* Not so fast... I could hit the "Cancel" button, but it doesn't actually cancel. Instead, it got the entire OS stuck. Explorer is no longer responding, all because I tried to cancel an installation.
Further, I killed the task in the task manager. It disappeared from the task list, but it was still running and somewhat responsive! (somewhat as in when I clicked a button the button went down but did nothing).
Probably the message loop getting stuck somewhere.
*EDIT 3* After a few minutes, it seems to have snapped out of it and I was able to kill it. Strange, although the process disappeared from the "Processes" tab, it still showed under the "Applications" tab, where I was able to further kill it the rest of the way.
