floppy.sys hangs when no drive existing

    Description

      problem exists in both 0.2.9 as well as 0.3.0-SVN as of 2006-05-19.

      i manually installed ROS on my IBM ThinkPad T23, by installing via QEmu, then copying the QEmu HDD image contents to a manually created FAT32 drive, and then adding freeldr.sys to GRUB.

      system hangs when loading/initialising floppy.sys....

      when deleting said file, all works OK....
