Performance: It takes more than 1hour to install Inkscape 0.91 from rapps

I noted that setup "being a bit slow" for every release test since 0.4.1 already.
But from 0.4.7rls to 0.4.8-RC-16-gaf545fe gcc dbg we see a big performance hit.

The setup is extremely slow - it takes more than 1h for me to succeed.
Some parts are fast, like decompressing a file, but whenever it
"searches within a directory" like in waitn.png it takes forever.

The slowdown is not caused by the listbox, it takes forever with that collapsed as well (and as said, adding an entry there for decompressing is not slow either)

There is no ros-log generated while it is busy (and maxing out a CPU-core)
