Regression: Open file dialogs are broken

At first I tought it was an issue from a specific application, but some tests after I can say that almost all of the open file dialogs are broken, just easy to reproduce with sumatrapdf's "open file" option, the dialog window jost doesn't appear on screen, and sadly, no debug log seems to be generated by this bug.
