Device Manager does not install drivers for most devices

Using VMware Player Version 12 and default English selections, I noticed that the second stage for "Installing Devices..." was much faster after 11-203. Comparing Device Manager between 11-202 and 11-203 shows that the main categories are fewer and in the 11-203 many devices show up under "Other" instead of their normal categories.
