Cygwin based 'Git-bash' the blinking caret is drawn erroneously another time next to itself, and leaves drawing-garbage behind upon typing

0.4.10-RC-29-gf6a9392 gcc dbg lin, VBox 4.3.12, VBEMP

*Reproduction steps
-install Git 2.10.0 from rapps
-run 'Git Bash' from startmenu

Expected result
It properly draws in the Cygwin window, like xpsp3_gitBash.png

Observed result
in the 'git bash' ros has issues drawing the blinking caret.
It's drawn another time next to itself. And upon typing, one of those copies is not overpainted again, leaving an outdated caret drawn after each character we type.

The logfile 0.4.10-RC-29-gf6a9392.log is worthless I guess.
