VMware Virtual Mouse Setup Fatal System Error

When using VMware about 10-20% of the time the setup will hang on the first, second, or third screen with no visible indication of any problem. The keyboard just stops having any effect and I have to shut down the virtual machine and restart it again and then it normally works fine, but sometimes it takes two or three tries to get the setup to continue. The debug log shows a fatal system error related to USB for Vid=0E0F and Pid=0003 which is the VMware Virtual Mouse. I know that the new USB stack will probably fix this, but i created a patch that works in the meantime. Should a "Duplicate Device" actually be a "Fatal" error?
