Worksoft Navigator 0.985 installer is locked in an endless redrawing loop

The installer is plagued by some endless redraw loop all the time,
coupled with constant high CPU usage of 70-80% in "wsnsetup"-process and VBox VMs disk-usage-indication-LED is indicating permanent read-activity (LED is constantly on).

It is very hard to interact with that setup while it is looping.

It does not log anything while this is looping, here is the log anyway:

After user fighted through this installer, the main app runs quite well.
