The bug is very old, I noticed it in every release test since 0.4.0 already.
VBox 4.3.12 with VBEMP
WinBoard 4.8.0 from rapps
Start the link 'Game Viewer' from start menu
Observed result
The ChessBoard has drawing glitches. The glitches do change their appearance when I drag the Window offscreen and back.
