Jaton GeForce MX 4000 - no resolution higher than 800x600

For some reason I can't set the resolution higher than 800x600 after installing the driver (which installs after deleting NVDisp.nvu - a common error in ROS it seems). When I say I "can't change the resolution", I mean it literally will not let me slide the resolution slider! I can't get a log due to the lack of resources / necessary setup to do such a thing. Just a heads-up and hopefully someone else may have ran into this issue and can give pointers
