Description
When I try to boot ReactOS (either a hand-built copy or the downloadable 0.4.10 ISO) in VirtualBox 6.0.4, it crashes the hypervisor at the moment when usetup is supposed to appear. When this happens, the VirtualBox GUI freezes, the entire host PC becomes as slow as rubber cement, and the only way to restore normalcy is to reboot the host PC (killing it in Task Manager does nothing). No errors appear in the VM log files.
I suspect this problem is because I am using VirtualBox's Hyper-V fallback feature (you know if you are using it because a turtle icon appears below the VM's screen). If I was to use the VirtualBox native CPU emulation (as opposed to Hyper-V's), this problem would probably no longer occur; however, I cannot seem to get VirtualBox to do so. I have disabled Hyper-V in Windows Optional Features, rebooted the host afterwards, and reinstalled VirtualBox after that, and it still insists on using the Hyper-V fallback. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks!
