OpenTTD 1.8.0 from rapps plays sound, but no MIDI music

    Description

      0.4.11-RC-34-g5e059e7 gcc dbg linux
      VBox 4.3.12, AC97 driver from rapps was installed and working and did not 'suck'
      OpenTTD 1.8.0 from rapps

      Expected result
      In apps main menu we hear sound (like trains) and Midi music.
      I just double-checked that on XPSP3

      Observed result
      In apps main menu we hear sound (like trains) but no Midi music.
