BSOD when hitting save on Git for windows 2.10.0

As per the subject, every time I click save on the preferences screen for Git for windows 2.10.0 I get a BSOD.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install package from the application manager
2. Start the terminal
3. Right click, select options and hit save.

This happens every time and is very reproducible.

BSOD message:

Host:
