Powerpoint Viewer 2010 animated texts are very slow

Reproduction steps

• install MS Powerpoint viewer 2010 from rapps
• open sample.ppt
• browse to slide9 which shall display 7 different and commonly used text animations
• press a key whenever a text animation has finished to invoke the next one

Expected result
It draws the text animations fast like xpsp3_slide9_fast.webm

Observed result
ros draws every text animation properly, but much too slow and stuttering

ros logs practically nothing while it is so slow.
When idling on that page (without any animation being active) the taskmgr shows very low load actually.
I guess it's really just the functions that perform the text animations that need tweaking.

The bug is years old already, nothing new, I was just too lazy to file it up to now, but recently PPViewer2010 improved a lot, so it is time to look a bit closer.
