After installing Virtual box guest additions and the AC97 driver BSOD

After doing the installation of the guest additions restart in safe mode, restart again, then installing the ac97 driver, and a restart I get a black screen with a red blob in the top left corner, and after trying to close the virtual machine I get a BSOD. I'm using host system Ubuntu Virtualbox version 5.2.32 and ReactOS version 4.12. Host Audio adapter is Pulse Audio.
