Removing a USB flash device without prior ejecting destroys installation when a CD is inserted

    Description

      When removing a USB flash device while a CD is in the optical drive the system halts. But after that it does not boot anymore after selecting any of the available boot modes in the bootloader, displaying the attached exception.
      This behavior does expressively not happen when the optical drive is empty!
