Description
0.4.13-RC-32-gaa2b39c gcc dbg win.
The symptom is pretty similar to CORE-9475, but for another driver.
With maybe 20-30% chance the driver that is installed by "DvDWriteNow 1.5.12 SP2" from rapps disables itself right after bootup:
(ntoskrnl/io/iomgr/file.c:149) You are seeing this because the following ROS driver: \FileSystem\DwUdf
|
sucks. Please fix it's AddDevice Routine
|
UDF: DriverEntry : dismount \Device\CdRom0
|
Please notice, that this is a sporadic issue. After the next reboot it may be ok, or not.
I opened the ticket because it appears very similar to CORE-9475 and maybe can reduce the suspicion regardng our AC97 driver there and let us focus more towards our PnP and driver handling in general. I did not want to spam the other ticket with that information, but ultimately how likely is it that all those 3rd party drivers do suck the same way? I think it points more towards ros 'sucking' instead.
