Inconsistent keyboard settings and settings wrongly memorized after reboot

    Description

      Step1:  ROS installed with US configuration (QWERTY)

      Step2: Installed French keyboard as alternate. Set it as default. Correctly uses AZERTY

      Step3: Reboot.

      Symptoms :

      • Shows "FR in use" in tray BUT "US in use" in settings panel (see screenshot)
      • Reverts QWERTY while previously on AZERTY, as default
