Regression, sysdm.cpl crops the version string

I did wait more than 4years for some newbie to jump on that obvious regression by himself. Unfortunately it did not happen automatically, so I will have to act on that myself as soon as my time allows me to.
Since SVN->git switch our version string is cropped, which is the most informative string on that page. Much more important than the - I admit beautiful - but giant ros logo.
I will try to mimic the XPSP3 layout of that page, and will try with shrinking our logo by factor 2.
Since we recently introduced the target platform into the version string on master head, I am pretty sure, that the state there is even worse than in this sample pic from 0.4.7.
