Regression, Chrome 49.0.2623.110 does not longer install

in 0.4.13-release-28-g5724391 I could install Chrome 49.0.2623.110, start it with --no-sandbox parameter, and could even watch youtube videos

Observed result
in 0.4.14-RC-94-g60f8109 that same installer does not longer install properly. It dies silently before creating the desktop icon even and afterwards no chrome.exe is on the system anywhere to start the main app

Time to bisect. This is one of the best browsers we used to support, so I don't want it to break for 0.4.14.
