Description
My goal is to install ReactOS to USB stick and make some tests with it on real hardware.
I'm not sure if it will work, since I can boot on real hardware only using Plop Boot Manager.
But nevertheless, I decided to give it a try.
To do this I chose simpler task: install ReactOS to (real) USB stick with the help of VirtualBox.
And this task failed in various ways.
The first problem I saw is hanging while copying files at ~5%.
This problem is reproducing fairly good.
Second problem appeared when I tried to log what is happening to a file.
With logging enabled, installation hangs earlier: at formatting step.
Third problem is a hang too, it happens while preparing the list of files without logging enabled. I think it is not worth chasing now.
What do you think is the next step in trying to make it work?
