BitComet 1.86 forces the shell to a endless redrawing

When the program is started, the Bitcomet window renders fine but the shell / explorer keeps refreshing itself, occupying 100% of the cpu. 

As long as the bitcomet window is interacted by the mouse clicks, the shell stops redrawing itself.

Closing Bitcomet windows do not stop the endless redrawing but closing and reopening explorer.exe by the Task Manager does stop the refresh.
