New fastfat.sys - faulting on MM with "All Star - Strip Poker Girls Next Door"

caveat emperor - The game is 18,+ but you can find it on Web Archive...
 
ReactOS 0.4.15-x86-dev (Build 20221020-0.4.15-dev-5224-g4572aad) (Commit 4572aad16a7397e938dea7f094a2c2b662b8ef48)
Reproduction step:

• Install the game by running setup.exe (no other prerequirements needed for this issue - there is some requirements to play the game full but I'm kepeing it out of scope for this issue)
• Run the game with the connected DVD
• Wait for the game title menu
• Press any of the choices (in the example, I pressed "Optionen")
• Bug checkhappens

In order to toubleshoot the issue, I have tried reproducing the issue with alternative scenarios:

• Win2k3 fastfat.sys (5.2.3790.3959 and 5.2.3790.1433) on FAT32 partition --> works
• Stable 0.4.14 (old fastfat.sys) on FAT32 partition --> works
• Stable 0.4.14 ROS ntfs.sys on NTFS partition --> works

it seems very specific with the current new fastfat.sys and VMWare- hence the title.

Attached the faulting log. (ps. skipping the BSOD also causes a follow up bsod)
