LTSpiceIV does not clear draw trace when placing components and wires.

Use above link to download LTSpiceIV 32bit for Windows XP.

Install the program normally as the process will be flawless.

Open LTSpiceIV and create a new schematic by using 'File > New Schematic' option in menu or the equivalent icon in tool bar.

Press 'R', 'C', 'L' , 'F2' or 'F3' key to place a component or wire in the new schematic and you will be able to check that the component drawing trace is not deleted when moved to be placed in the definitive schematic location. Press ESC key once it is placed and the trace is erased and the same process can be repeated with another component or wire.
