    Description

i know you're not supposed to install wifi drivers but i did anyways
the driver seems to work to some extent at the very least it adds an advanced tab to the properties but trying to access the properties crashes devmgr & rundll outside of QEMU
      with an ACCESS_VIOLATION Appcrash_2023-12-15_21-22-36.txt
a separate issue is the first stage installer crashes the system with a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error i extracted the driver using WINE on Linux

      UPDATE
      some more observations
the driver can't be uninstalled from device manager
the wifi indicator light turns on in the later stage of boot
the last step of the progress bar
an interesting discovery is that the indicator light turns on even in safe mode where the systray icon & rest of the driver is disabled
don't have XP to test if the light remains on in safe mode
but on Linux the light is off if NetworkManager isn't running
