Text cursor doesn’t appear while typing

I was using Resource Hacker (as found in rosapps). When I type in the text editor, I do not see the insertion point while I am typing. I must stop typing and wait for the cursor to begin to blink before it reappears. If I then use the arrow keys to move back through the text, the insertion point disappears while moving and now I have no idea where it is, making editing text impossible.

This also occurs, for some bizarre reason, in the text fields in the second stage setup. I have tested the keyboard-test text field and the text field used to rename a file; the cursor appears as expected there.

The exact commit I am running is hard to determine because I need to apply a patch to get ReactOS to work (as seen in PR#6026), which throws off the git history because of my need to merge branches. (I keep one branch tracking the reactos/reactos master, while I do all my work, including applying the above patch, off the local master.) My best guess is 619ff7c. Please accept my apologies for this.
