    Description

ReactOS guilty: Interval between 405ed2b-0bf4206 (pending to find, but I suspect 405ed2b4ceeff7e011e35e5308abdfc582f29396 will be the guilty).
Arch: Tested under x86 gcc dbg
Context: VBox or Real hardware with a Doremi USBA to DMX cable (UDT10), in fact is a simple serial device FTDI FT232R, plus its Drivers (Windows 2000, that includes the BUS and the USB Serial Converter driver and source here). I use for sending the values of the DMX, an open source software called QLC+, concretly the 4.10.0 version https://www.qlcplus.org/downloads/4.10.0/QLC+_4.10.0.exe

Description: Serial port stopped using it's calls to project the lights in the DMX device. I am using the software that calls the driver to do the lighting.
