Description
(steps for DougLyons - potentially an MM problem since he is investigating it)
Prerequisite
Destination has to have at least 7Gb of free disk space due to the size.
Steps
- Install ReactOS x86 bootcd (msvc or gcc is the same)
- Install .NET Framework 2.0 from RAPPS (don't use the bundled one with the DVD or it will occur on CORE-20174
- Install Encarta 2009 Premium. You can choose Encarta Kids, Install on hard disk or run from cd, the corruption happens anyway
(Font will disappear due to desktop font replacement, the next reboot the fond works) - Files are corrupted, you can check with chkdsk or often the same Encarta.exe is corrupted.
Filesystem difference
FAT32 completes the install (with the corruption)
BTRFS ends it premuterally
patch tested
Skipping WRITE_TRHOUGH has no effect
Enabling the flush timer made no effect in FAT32 and ntoskrnl crash on btrfs.
