Area.exe crosshairs not erased when moving

When testing the Area.exe file from https://jira.reactos.org/browse/CORE-13532 I noticed that when the cursor crosshairs are moved, they are not erased from their previous position leaving multiple artifacts in both the vertical and horizontal positions improperly on screen.
I have attached the revised copy of the test file here: Area_new.exe .

As this is happening, nothing is sent to the debug log at all.
