Description
When attempting to overwrite a file in Total Commander (version 11.56, 32-bit) on ReactOS, the "File Overwrite" confirmation dialog appears repeatedly in a loop. Total Commander does not proceed past the prompt and remains stuck, preventing file operations from completing.
Tested ReactOS versions:
- 0.4.17 (ISO: reactos-bootcd-0.4.17-dev-249-gc08b368-x86-gcc-lin-dbg.iso)
- 0.4.15 (ISO: ReactOS-0.4.15-release-1-gdbb43bbaeb2-x86.iso)
Environment:
- Host OS: Windows 10 x64
- Virtualization platform: VirtualBox 7.2.8
Steps to reproduce:
1. Boot into ReactOS using the specified ISO images
2. Install Total Commander: tcmd1156x32.exe
3. Launch Total Commander
4. Copy or move a file to a location where a file with the same name already exists
5. Confirm the overwrite prompt that appears
6. Observe that the overwrite dialog reappears repeatedly, causing a loop
Expected behavior:
The file should be overwritten successfully, and the dialog should not reappear repeatedly.
*Actual behavior:*
Total Commander shows the overwrite confirmation dialog repeatedly, preventing the operation from completing and causing the application to hang.
Additional information:
- ReactOS versions tested: 0.4.17 and 0.4.15
- Total Commander version: 11.56 (32-bit)
- No other ReactOS builds have been checked so far
