    Description

Hardware: ASUS ROG GL552VW (i7-6700HQ, HM170 chipset, GTX 960M). The BIOS is in legacy CSM mode with SATA on AHCI.

      Steps:

      1. Write the bootcd ISO to a USB stick with Rufus (MBR, BIOS target).
      2. Boot it and choose "ReactOS Setup".

Result: FreeLdr loads through the BIOS's legacy USB emulation. After "BOOT DRIVERS LOADED", iomgr polls 30 s for the boot device and the kernel bugchecks with 0x0000007B (0xAF4C2A1C, 0xC0000034, 0, 0). Every USB port fails the same way, because this chipset has no EHCI/UHCI companion controller. Every port is on xHCI. "Live - RamDisk" fails with "RAM disk too big."

Expected: Setup can find the USB boot media on xHCI-only hardware.

Notes: txtsetup.sif maps only the older USB controllers, and usbxhci isn't in the boot driver set. This may be covered by the in-progress xHCI work in PR #9646.
